This cozy ,sun filled property with great breezes , vast open lawn , mature plantings with various fruit and Spruce trees is defined by the surrounding stone walls, a true private oasis.
On the lower level, the fully stocked retro kitchen with vintage pine cabinetry includes a a new SS gas wall oven with separate 30 gas cooktop, 36 side by side subzero refrigerator with separate laundry room off the kitchen. A open floor plan from entry hall , opens to a Family room / Dining space with central wood burning fireplace with TV & Sound bar and a full bath with rain shower head. The Outdoor patio off the kitchen sits a picnic table that seats 8 overlooking the scenic property with a Gas grill.
The three bedrooms, Living room with desk and full bath with tub/shower are on the upper level. The living room desk allow you comfortably work remotely as needed with excellent Wi-Fi especially multiple users. In summer months we have window A/C units. The attached two car attached garage is not available nor is the accessory garage however the wrap around deck and adirondeck chair swings can be enjoyed by the tenants.
Looking Glass Hill is a less-travelled road on the Litchfield / Morris border in Bantam, 5 minutes drive from Bantam center and Bantam Lake and near Winvian Farm, South Farms all local restaurants .
A Solo Stove fire pit is available in the fall and winter months, guests provide the wood for all fireplaces and fire pit.
