An apartment so legendary, it even has a name: “The Bunker.” It is for rent by the owner & it’s located in the best spot of the best neighborhood, Charlestown. Monument & Warren are the cross streets. The apartment is a few minute walk from Bunker Hill, the harbor walk, & the Charlestown walking bridge to downtown.
As legendary as this apartment is, it’s not for everyone because it is quirky. We are looking for tenants that are a good fit.
A Few things to consider up front:
1. It is garden level (basement). Some of the windows are not full-sized. Despite that it has a good amount of sunlight because of the renovations we’ve done.
2. Two separate full sized entry/exit doors separate from the main building
3. Washer & dryer in unit
4. A private patio
5. Central heating & AC in the main living/kitchen area. This can feed the bedrooms if the doors are open.
6. Electric heat in the bedrooms
7. The smaller 2nd bed room can accommodate a portable AC unit. The master bedroom cannot, so we sleep with the door open when the AC is on (this can be challenging if you have a roommate)
8. Would consider a Dog (May require a pet deposit)
9. Would not consider cats at this time
10. The floor is cold in the winter, & rugs are the difference maker
11. The fireplace is not operational
12. We don’t have the exact start date of the lease yet, but likely between early-mid August.
13. One year lease (Prioritizing tenants who plan to stay longer if they like living there)
14. First last & Security deposit up front ($4300 +$4300 + $2500 = $11,100)
15. Phone references of 1-2 previous landlords & proof of income will be required
