It is a studio room w PRIVATE ENTRY, AND OFF STREET PARKING,with bath, complete kitchenette (see photos, and description below), and a BEDROOM NOOK that can be curtained off to retain heat, with Washer and Dryer, all in its own building, above our shop, detached from the house- it is warm, and REALLY well insulated. its an 1100 Square Foot BIG WHITE ROOM as big as a house.
Its on a quiet road, 14-17 minutes from Intel in Hillsboro or from Cornelius, for a Covid Vaxxed Tenant.
Available May 15, or possibly earlier, depending upon how soon the tenant actually leaves, and cleaning. We hope (?) to begin scheduling walk-throughs as early as the first week in May.

Theres heat on thermostats, w lotsa plugs and lighting, A/C in one of the windows (for our newly extended and hotter summers) . . and theres storage shelves all along one 30 wall . . it is all painted white sheetrock, floor is grey painted plywood, with a BIG 4x9 foot South facing (stunning morning/evening light) window at one end that looks out towards Bald Peak, and has a view and a half. SEE PICTURES!! The existing tenant sent me the beautiful window photos for the ad . .
WASHER/DRYER and heated toilet/shower, downstairs in the shop. We occasionally may need to use the bathroom from time to time, if or when myself or my wife are in the shop, during the day. See photos,

We are looking for 1 NON SMOKING person, no cats, our dog chases squirrels and cats- our goats are too cranky as is, so dogs are possible, but must get along, and we worry about them being left up there all alone and lonely all day, while you work . . . ??
Qualifying personality (HEALTHY sense of humor is encouraged), GOOD credit (700 and up), and rental history are absolutely necessary. Our experience with tenants who have high credit ratings/good rental history shows us that they save us money and hassle, so our rental price is less, $985, plus a share of our internet if you need it at $28 a month. There is a $50 refundable credit-check fee if we rent to you, after 6 months.
YOUR OWN ELECT METER: the electric, which has been running folks (before PGE raised our rates 22%!!!) about $25-$40 a month in summer, up to $95 a month in winter unless you go crazy on heat.
MOVE IN COSTS: 1ST, LAST MONTHS RENT, $450 SECURITY DEPOSIT, PLUS $50 for CREDIT CHECK required before move in, (refundable in 7th month, if you move in), you MUST have GOOD credit (700 and up)!! MONTH TO MONTH RENTAL, WE’RE HOPING FOR AT LEAST A YEAR?
WATER/GARBAGE/SEPTIC/LAUNDRY INCLUDED: . . . You can use some of our internet for an additional $28 a month- we have an A/C for one of the windows- we even have an emergency generator for the water-refers-internet, if the occasional Oregon snowstorm, (or the odd dumb driver plows into a pole and) shuts us in without power.
INTERNET AND PHONE: The existing tenant says to say the ATT signal is blazingly fast, we use Verizon, and it seems pretty quick to us, we used to have T mobile n that was pretty quick too . . our cable internet is supposedly 800 MBPS down and 25 MBPS up out of the cable modem, and half that out of the wireless router in the shop . . though she says it is faster than that . . ???
While we are a retired couple, there are kids and pets and neighborhood life on all sides of the property, and were often out with the goats, but its mostly just quiet, and we like it that way :) . . . No meth-heads, no SMOKERS, or crazy drinkers cause we live here and entry is through the shop below. . . theres tools down there!!
We live about 5 miles South of Hillsboro, less than a half mile from Hwy 219. Within 14-17 minutes from either Hillsboro Intel or Cornelius, so shopping and restaurants, but rural . . . also great for remote live/work situation. 3) Is the commute to work from here reasonable for YOU. Check the Craigslist map, to get an idea.
4) Are you comfortable with the bathroom being downstairs, and our very occasional use of it?
5) How long do you hope to need this place? We’re month to month, but hoping longer than a year.
6) Is your car relatively smallish, for our gravel driveway?
7) Are you vaccinated, boosted, as comfortable testing and communicating about Covid as we need?
8) Are you one person, (to make our rural septic system happy)?
9) Do you work nights, would racket from the shop during the day be difficult for you?
