Our rental property application requirements are as follows to qualify for the lease to locals program aimed at helping local employee needs. As such, only tenants who meet the following qualifications will be considered for this home:

1) Work for an Employer in the Region — At least 50% of the adults over 18 in the household (related or unrelated) must work at least 20 hours per week, for an employer located in the geographic boundaries of the Truckee Tahoe Unified School District (TTUSD)

2) Income Cap — Households must not make over 150% of the area median income. For related or unrelated adults over 18, you can take the average of your household income, which cannot exceed $118,125 per year per person.

Application Process:

- A credit report is required for each applicant, with a fee of $45.00.

- Two years of verifiable rental history is required.

- A good credit history is essential.

- Proof of income is necessary and can be provided through paystubs, social security income, proof of disability income, bank statements, or tax returns.

- A form of identification and a voided check are also required.
