Description

Historic Normandy Tudor House

One of the most unique and upscale apartments in the Lehigh Valley located in the Tutor House in Bethlehem Pennsylvania will be available after March 23, 2024. This is a one-bedroom unit in a historic Normandy/English Tudor Mansion within walking distance of Lehigh University, St. Luke’s Hospital, and historic Bethlehem. Just one block from the highway for easy commuting. The unit is on the first floor of the building, no stairs or narrow hallways, which leads to views of South Mountain and Lehigh University. The Tudor House was built in 1903 by Dr. Walker an associate of St. Luke’s Hospital.

The unit will be available after March 23, 2024.

Step up to quality with details throughout. Many upgrades and amenities including new stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, a glass cook top and self-cleaning oven, new dishwasher, a large new stainless steel sink and faucet, refrigerator and new LED for under the counter lighting.

The living room is the original living room of the residence when it was a single-family residence and retains many of the original features. A massive stone fireplace with the original wood boxes flank either side of the fireplace. The hardwood floors sometimes called “Tiger Oak” or quarter sawn oak have been refinished. Multiple windows for lots of daylight and window coverings are provided. Two closets for ample storage and a small closet in the hall entrance way.

The bedroom is large 13x17 and has ample space for even a king size bed. New wood plank floor that makes cleaning easy and excellent for those with any allergies. One wall in the bedroom is the original granite stone wall with an alcove for displaying any collectibles. Crown molding and reproduction of the original floor molding throughout. Large closet for all your accessories.

The bathroom has been updated with a tub/shower combination and designer tile. Crown molding on the ceiling gives it that old world charm revealing craftmanship of ages gone by, along with a new medicine cabinet and vanity. Attention to detail found throughout the bathroom and the rest of the apartment as well.

The apartment includes off street parking, and a laundry room in the basement of the building. The building is smoke free. The rent is $1,635 a month with a one-year lease and one-month security deposit. Additionally, a credit check with the application is required. The rent includes hot water, garbage, and recycling. Tenants pay for electric, TV cable, and a telephone line if so desired. Pets are considered (cats and small dogs) with an additional pet lease.
