Contemporary executive 4 BR 3.5 BA home on forested acreage w/large swimming pool. Spacious deck & patio. Walk to sandy Lake Minnetonka beach. Less than 5 min. to dining and recreation in Excelsior. Just 30 min. (but feels like a world away) from Minneapolis. Spend days among white-tailed deer, wild turkeys and the occasional fox. At night, listen to the hoot of owls and the distant cry of a coyote. Nearby trails offer miles of walking and cycling. Although we have neighbors, you will feel as if you are secluded in the woods without being far from everything you need. This home is < 5 minutes from great restaurants, public boat launch, shopping, sandy beach, and entertainment. Grab our SUPs for an epic day out on the water or spend your day relaxing on the sandy beach just a short stroll away.
The heated, in-ground pool is open from the third weekend in May through the third weekend in September (weather permitting). We have the pool maintained with cleaning, chemicals, and such once per week. We may need to instruct you to add some simple chemicals throughout your stay depending on your usage and weather, to keep the pool in optimal condition for your enjoyment.
The primary bedroom has a king bed, loveseat, fireplace, TV and adjacent full bathroom. "The Dormitory" has a queen bed, two twin beds and ensuite bathroom with 48" shower. These bedrooms are on the upper level. "The Cozy Nook" bedroom has a queen bed and TV. It is located on the main floor. "The Haven" bedroom has a queen bed. There is a full bathroom with shower and bathtub down the hall. This bedroom is on the lower level.
There are three separate group gathering areas and cozy quiet spots for throughout the home. There is a private office/workout room in the lower level where you can get some work done or stream your favorite yoga class.
