Smoking is not allowed in the apartment or anywhere on the premises.
In the building's upper lobby you will find a laundromat and bicycle parking, first-come, first-served. If bike parking is full, you're welcome to take your bike up to the apartment.
The location is fantastic. It is easy to walk or bike to all the best of the city from here. Walk to Wash U Medical Center, Aldi, Whole Foods, and all kinds of shopping and dining. Transit is easy, with a short walk to Metrolink, the city's regional rail line. While you would probably find it easiest to live here without a car, parking is free and on-street in front of the building.
If you do not have renter's insurance, there is an additional fee of $10.50 per month for "Tenant Liability Insurance." Such insurance covers unintentional or accidental damages to the apartment and the building, but not to personal possessions.
