Scheduling - All moves must be scheduled through the Concierge [Use CALL button] ) at least one week before the move. All moving firms/individuals must register upon arrival with the concierge staff by going to the desk or entry system and contacting the concierge on duty. On-site personne! will put up elevator pads, and lobby floor protection, explain the procedure for discarding boxes and packing materials, use of the elevator, etc.
Hours - Residential moves are limited to Monday - Saturday, 8 am to noon, 1 pm - 5 pm. Moves are not allowed on Sundays or holidays.
Fees - There is a $300 fee ($100 refundable) that covers the move-in and move-out that must be paid to the Association at least two days before the move-in. If payment has not been received by the date of the scheduled move-in, the move will be canceled until payment has been received. The refundable portion ($100) is reimbursed within thirty (30) days of move-out, provided that both the move-in and move-out are scheduled that all rules and regulations are followed and no damage is recorded nor fees are assessed.
Damage - The on-site staff will inspect the premises before and after the move for any damage. The Association will not be responsible for any expenses of the move. The owner will be responsible for any expenses and damage done to the building due to the move including clean up of the common area. If any issues arise during the move please contact the concierge desk immediately.
Loading Dock - The loading dock is located to the right of the entry doors, at 922 NW 11th Avenue between NW Lovejoy and Johnson. Loading dock dimensions are 30' deep, with an entry gate that is 14°6" wide by 12' high. The moving vehicle can under no circumstances impede sidewalk access. If this happens, you could be subject to a fine of $40 per call received by the City for that obstruction. If you feel the moving/delivery truck may block access, you can obtain a sidewalk closure permit from the City of Portland Permit Center at [Use CALL button] . The Permit Center requires 3 days of processing time to issue permits. If the truck is too large for the loading dock you will need to obtain parking permits from the City of Portland Permit Center to reserve street parking.
