We are Robert and Miguel, a down to earth couple who enjoy good food and good company. This is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, single level home- the third bedroom being rented by our roommate Jenny. We are looking to rent out a private room in our Gladstone home for $700 a month- this price includes utilities. Additionally, we bulk buy the basic household needs
(exp: toilet paper, dish soap, laundry soap, …) and split the cost for these four ways (~$15/month). Features of our house we are proud of include: a kitchen with everything you need to make anything you want, a backyard with a garden and a nice outdoor hosting area, a lounge area with a projector to watch movies and shows on, and our own little bar, perfect for hosting people when you’d rather stay in than go out. Additionally: the house has a washer & dryer, central air, heating and cooling, and 2 fridges/freezers to accommodate us all. Our home is on the quiet edge of the Portland Metro, but is close to I205 and easy to get to other places in
the city from there- there is an abundance of street parking, two grocery stores close by, and there are buses a 5 minute walk away that can get you to Clackamas Town Center, Gladstone, and Oregon City.
Robert has been a professional chef for over two decades and enjoys cooking at home as much as he does at work. He loves cooking for others, and feeding all who are hungry, simply encouraging those who come to bring a side or a drink, or contribute in some way to the festivities. Miguel enjoys being the host with the most, the life of the party, the one who laughs first and loudest. He is also a kind soul and will go out of his way to talk and listen to his friends. We are looking for a roommate who is: LGBTQ friendly and open and considerate to all people, is fairly tidy and likes to keep their place clean, enjoys living in a place where there are
small gatherings a couple times a week and occasionally larger parties, and appreciates the simple things in life like good food, cocktails, and silly conversations.
