Looking for a bright eyed human to live in our fully furnished 2 story, 1 bedroom rental. It’s a beautiful space with views of the mountains from top floor and a private balcony off the bedroom. On the lower floor there is a covered, private patio (great for your bike) and small yard that gets afternoon sun. The entrance is only yours and there is a private bathroom and shower as well. On the upper floor there is a ton of built in storage and a generous walk in closet.
Technically this is two rooms at the back of our house - so per the city of Santa Cruz it is NOT an apartment but two rooms in a house. It however functions as a separate space with a separate entrance etc.
An electric gate secures the side entrance to the property.
Utilities are included, provided you dont run the heat to 80 24/7 :).
All dishes and cookware are provided as well as a new Queen size mattress. You need only bedding and linens.
This space is best for one person. Couples, roommates and persons with pets, this isnt the right fit for you. In the past we have rented to many students, faculty and grad students at UCSC, due to the proximity to Campus and amenities.
The rental is at the back of our house on the west side of Santa Cruz, with three great coffee shops, New Leaf, the Kelly’s Courtyard, Humble Sea and many restaurants and wineries just a block away.
