The apartment is a non-shotgun style layout, so the bedrooms have great privacy.
The architectural detail of the house both inside and out is fabulous. Great floor to ceiling windows in the front room, bright and airy, such great light. Has good closet space! The apartment also includes shared use of a nice-sized back courtyard as well as dedicated parking spaces.
Great neighborhood that offers easy access to the restaurants of Carrollton Avenue and Oak Street, along with Tulane, Loyola and the Claiborne corridor to Downtown NOLA or Carrollton to I10 and Mid-City. Dogs and cats are welcome, with a non-refundable $150 deposit for cats and small dogs and $250 deposit for larger dogs. No pitbulls, german shepards or rotties without rental insurance. I love dogs, especially larger ones, but my insurance company wont accept those breeds so tenant would have to get their own policy which is about $15/mo. $1875 security deposit + 1st months rent due on signing of lease agreement. No utilities are included in the rent.
