There's a Light in the Attic- and by that, I mean- there is a finished attic space up in this biznitch. I'll admit, 'biznitch' has probably not crossed my internal dialogue in 15+ years; neither had childhood favorite author, Shel Silverstein- but here we are, filling in the memory divide with a 2-for-1. [Must say: the attic space is [Use EMAIL button] 's got a really weird ladder/platform to access, so keep the kiddo's away plz!]
Back to books- there were definitely poems about doing dreadful dishes(here, it's just a matter of loading that stainless steel dishwasher) or fighting for time in the bathtub (modern and updated, everyone just take a turn, alright!). Maybe you remember reading from the collection of Falling Up (or down, to the basement, where the w/d are)
Or know the author for Where the Sidewalk Ends (in the fenced backyard, leading to the parking pad)
