The bathroom has been totally renovated with new flooring and plumbing. New landscaping was also just put in, along with a french drain to off set any standing water. The back yard is extensively deep, with many tall, mature trees so is perfect for pets. An old-fashioned garage on site for storage also.
On a personal note, I lived in this sturdy, stalwart house with genuine rock walls, a real metal roof and storm windows that when closed makes this house a small fortress. I always I felt safe, even during the most extreme weather events.
Bridge Street is th oldest street in New Braunfels as it sits on one of the highest points in the county, so we did not have any flood damage during the floods of 1998, 2002 0r 2005.THe house is 1 street over from Mill St. which is a designated historic district, just before Landa Street off of Walnut Avenue for easy access to I-35 or Hwy 46.
The housing inspector who crawled through every nook and cranny told me that this house would still be standing years after I wasnt and with every passing year I recognize more and more how right he was.
