Happinest is tucked into the redwood and pine trees high up above the river. You’ll see trees through nearly every window and outdoor seating area! As you sip your coffee or tea under the canopy of green, birds chirp and drift by. This is a sweetly peaceful residential neighborhood and a lovingly updated home. Both bathrooms are fully remodeled and the kitchen has oodles of counter space.
Outdoors, you have ample places to relax and dine. The main deck includes the propane BBQ and dining table plus a seating area with a firepit/table. Checkout the porch along the front of the house with a hanging nest chair and other seating – all with views straight into the trees! Above the house, a couple Adirondack chairs occupy the brick patio and overlook the roof and into the treetops.
Families, wine country adventurers, and folks working remotely will all love Happinest!
Know Before You Book:
Happinest is only available for 30 to 90-night rentals at this time.
Parking: There is parking for a maximum of 2 vehicles on the street directly across the street from the house. RVs, trailers, and campers are prohibited, per the Sonoma County Vacation Rental Ordinance.
Security Cameras: For the safety of guests and the home, there is a doorbell security camera for the exterior only.
Bed Sizes: First bedroom: Queen bed; Second bedroom: Queen bed.
Heat Source: There is central heat and an electric fireplace in the living room.
Location: Happinest is in a residential neighborhood on a hill. The road to the house is narrow in sections. You may need to pull over if you meet an oncoming car. We recommend taking the road slowly.
Stairs: There are 43 steps from the street to the front door and 2 steps inside the house to reach one of the bedrooms. The steps and path to the backyard “patio” above the home are not even and some are sloped.
Proximity to wineries: There are tasting rooms in downtown Guerneville, approx. 2 miles from the house, and oodles of wineries within 10 miles.
Nearest River Beach: There is a neighborhood beach 1.2 mi from the house and Johnson’s Beach is 2 miles.
Nearest Ocean Beach: The closest coastal beaches are in Jenner, approx. 11 miles from the house.
