About the home: 
This home was built in 1896 and has seen many styles through the years! It was split into apartments a few decades ago like many of the historical homes in the area. A lot of the original charm of the house has been preserved, and it gained some artistic flair in the 2021 renovation. Some creaks and squeaks remain and you may occasionally hear other Art House Residents due to the entire house being on one shared furnace system. During the winter, the furnace is set to an overall balanced temperature for the building. There is no central AC, but window and portable AC units are available for rent on a first come first serve basis during summer months which includes set-up and take-down. You may also use your own AC units!

Our street is an up-and-coming neighborhood. Almost every house on this block has been or is in the process of being renovated. 
The Nine Rails Creative District is the newest addition to Ogdens rich history. Check out The Monarch and Dumke Plaza on your walk down 25th street! The name Nine Rails pays tribute to Ogden’s history as a railroad town, originally a major connection point on the Transcontinental Railroad and later, during World War II, a hub for nine different rail lines. “You can’t get anywhere without coming to Ogden” was a city slogan for a decade or more. The Nine Rails name is also symbolic of the Nine Muses from Greek mythology, with each muse representing a different form of artistic expression.
