The Hignell Companies has been an integral part of the development of the North State since 1948. Our passion is to serve in a way that reflects both caring and competence. Since our inception as a company, The Hignell Companies has built numerous apartment complexes, a professional office complex of 37,026 square feet, a small specialty shopping center, developed and marketed a 64 duplex subdivision and a 59-lot planned unit development. We professionally manage residential and commercial properties and help homeowner associations by providing board management services. We manage rental homes and apartments in multiple north state communities. In addition, we have built and are managing The Courtyard at Little Chico Creek, a 41-unit residential care facility for the elderly. As we grew we recognized the importance of caring well for our own properties as well as the larger community so we developed our services business, Experts in Your Home. We hold a general building contractor license (#143778) with nine supplemental classifications that allow us to provide all the services needed to help our customers.
