Moll Properties was founded by Simon and Monica Moll, both Cornell Graduates who fell in love with Ithaca and all it has to offer. Simon came all the way from Adelaide, South Australia to study at Cornell University as a graduate student and met Monica, a New Jersey transplant who was also finishing graduate school at Cornell. Having come from humble graduate student backgrounds, we understand the need for affordable quality housing for both students and young professionals in the Ithaca area. We love what we do and it shows in the quality of the management and maintenance of our properties. Spacious 2-bedroom, 1-bath apartment located at 1718 Mecklenburg Rd, right across the street from Ryans Veggies. This is a large property with a large common-area back deck looking east towards Cayuga Lake (view is mostly trees though!). Apartment is unfurnished. Landlord pays for heat, garbage, and water/sewer. Tenant pays for electric, which includes hot water. This is in the Ithaca City School District.

Tile floor, newer kitchen, ample closet space in both bedrooms. Off-street parking included. This is a good intermediate location between Ithaca and Watkins Glen or even Ithaca and Trumansburg. There is plenty of room on the property for tenants to have a garden.
Unit is available April 1. To schedule a showing, please complete a rental application. Security deposit equal to one months rent due at signing of lease, first months rent due prior to move-in. Rent will be prorated for whatever portion of the first month remains; rent due on the 1st of the month after that. 12, 15, or 24 month lease possible. 
Pet policy: monthly pet rent with no pet deposit. $25/cat and $35/dog. 
We allow dogs that are spayed/neutered, non-aggressive (a video of your dog at the dog park would be helpful here), house-trained (no pee pads), and well-exercised / non-destructive. We consider well-exercised to be a minimum of two 30-45 minute walks per day, not simply taking dogs out to pee and coming back inside. We have had plenty of damage in the past from nice dogs that were not well-exercised and were simply bored while their owners were at work. We expect dog owners to pick up after their dogs outside.
We allow cats that are completely litter-box trained and whose owners are really on top of regularly cleaning the litter box. We have also had plenty of damage in the past from cats who chose their own spots to pee because their litter boxes were not cleaned often enou
