Our newest house, the "Castle" is a large 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom house that sits at the end of a residential cul-de-sac in a large wooded setting. It is within walking distance of The Plains Elementary School, Library, and Post Office, as well as the bike path. It has an open living room floor plan, off street parking, washing machine, clothes dryer, dishwasher, centralized heating/cooling system, porch, 1400 sq ft rooftop deck, 10' ceilings, spiral staircase, and a large backyard.
The Castle sits on a quiet secluded wooded hillside lot. Four 40' storage containers stand vertically, with the house built between them, suspended in the air. Narrow windows running up the spiral staircase are designed to resemble arrow slits from ancient Archimedean forts. A foot thick coating of industrial foam gives the Castle a rocky stone texture, and provides outstanding heat insulation.
