Hemlane connects owners with local real estate agents for specific local property management tasks. Local agents and managers support owners in many ways, from rental showings to annual inspections. Hemlane is nationwide, so check out some of our cities with local agents. Hemlane offers lease tracking, online rent collection, and document storage. We'll communicate with you and your tenants to send updates on late fees, provide income and expense reports, and expedite repairs thorugh our maintenance portal. Hemlane's repair coordination team manages tenant requests around the clock for you. You control the approved thresholds and preferred maintenance service professionals, but our team performs the administrative work.

The House:
Rowhouse in North Petworth/Brightwood Park and a few blocks away from Kennedy Street corridor. 15-minute walk to Fort Totten metro and 1-2 blocks away from 62/63/64/E4 bus lines. 15-20 minute walk from Yes! The Rental:
$1900/month, plus utilities (utilities typically run $100-150 a month p/p for gas, electricity, water, and internet).
You are renting the entire second level of the house, which has 2 unfurnished bedrooms (including a master suite), 2 bathrooms, ample storage space, and a washer/dryer. A furnished communal space on the main level features a kitchen, dining room, and living area, along with a guest bathroom. Two housemates occupy the basement suite, which has its own kitchen, bathroom, W/D. Front entrance is shared by all housemates.
Other items included in the rental are: living room sofa, living room lamp, recliner, and 50" TV, and a large dining room table. House also has a working radiator system for those super cold winter nights!
Lease period is one year.
About You:
Comfortable with having two (+cat) housemates and some shared responsibilities, such as weekly trash duty. OK with street parking. Have some bedroom furniture, but not much living/dining room furniture (because of included furnishings). Bonus if you enjoy gardening/summer cookouts, because the backyard is great for that!
