Neighborhood: Petworth is a really great diverse neighborhood. It's close to Columbia Heights and there's lots of great shops, food, and bars nearby. Some of my favorite spots include Timber Pizza, Taqueria Habanero (tacos), Thip Khao (Lao), Los Hermanos (Dominican), Mi Cuba Cafe (Cuban), and Menya Hosaki (Ramen) all within 15 minutes walking. For groceries, there's Safeway that's a 3 min walk or Yes Organic Market about 7 mins away. On weekends, there's community pickup soccer games at the nearby rec center, or in warmer months, a farmer's market 5 min away.
