The Apartment: On the third and top floor flooded with natural light and freshly painted with architect-selected colors, the charm of a low-rise San Francisco classic apartment building is evident in many details - from built-ins to plate rails. A new kitchen with Carrera marble countertops, stainless steel Liebherr fridge, microwave, and a five-burner gas range for your best at-home recipes, with both a dishwasher and garbage disposal making cleanup a breeze. A niche off the kitchen houses a new full-size LG washer and dryer.
The front bedroom faces east and is flooded with morning light. A king-sized bed and an office area fits. The second bedroom can fit a queen-sized bed with an office area. The tiled bathroom has a shower over tub. Floors are wood finish throughout, except for the new soft tile floor in the new kitchen. The Building: Called a 'Romeo' building, there are three units on either side of a central stairwell. Classic in design, rent-controlled, and filled with great people! Half of the tandem space is available for an additional $200/month, for a car, bikes, or extra storage. The garage has a narrow entry and is manually operated, so plan to test your vehicle in the space.
The Neighborhood: Woodward Street is a one-block residential community with engaged and committed residents who love and believe in their neighborhood. There is a google group to keep neighbors up to date and a real spirit of caring for each other on the block. There are some great options for dining, entertainment and shopping within minutes of the block. As we are pet-friendly with no additional pet rent or deposit for responsible pet owners, there's also a dog park at the end of the street.
