I’m looking for kind of a dream scenario roomie and I will try to keep it as succinct as possible. I am not in a huge rush to lock someone in and my biggest priority is finding the best fit (for everyone)! Earliest move in is May 21st.
I own and live in a 3 story townhome in Smyrna/Vinings. I’d love to rent out my fully furnished second bedroom (it’s huge, see pics, with ensuite bathroom) to someone who is interested in receiving a discount on rent in exchange for helping take care of my 2y old boxer mix, Leo.
TL;DR: looking for someone cool with great energy who LOVES and is good with big dogs and gets a lot out of just hanging with a fun dog, has a pretty low key schedule here in ATL who WFH or works nearby/has flexible work hours and can help take care of my dog.
I'm not looking for someone to be with hm 24/7. He can go a while without peeing but I just need some help co-parenting him and having someone else I can rely on here in the house and share responsibilities would be awesome.
About me: I’m 36, I’m in med device sales. I travel somewhat for work but mainly I just work in the metro ATL area. If I am not out in the field, I’m working at home. I’m quite clean and take very good care of the house. I value cleanliness especially in the kitchen. I'd love to have good energy and common interests with my housemate but I'm also good at giving mental space even if we're in the same room at the same time, like the kitchen. I can be social, I also love my sleep. Sometimes I have people over but I mainly go out.
About Leo: He's 2 years old and very high energy, super sweet and will die for you once you're in the circle of trust (it's easy).
My ask: I sometimes don't have the ability to get him outside as often as I know he needs due to a very demanding work schedule. In exchange for a discount on rent, I'd love if someone were to live here who either works from home or works nearby and can commit to taking point on handling him throughout the week
