Room for rent in private house

I am a retired NYC Police Officer, a federal Investigator, and a former Deputy US Marshal. I have my law degree from Western State University College of law.

The room I have is in a beautiful larger house on a quiet tree lined street in Anaheim Hills. The "out of pocket" rent would be $800. I am a 75yo disabled veteran. The VA will pay you approximately $650 a month ($1,450 - $650 = $800) in exchange for your helping me around the house i.e., cleaning the common (kitchen, living room, yard) area's, perhaps a meal or two. This is a job (wages that are taxed) which you would have to apply for, but since I would be the one to recommend you, you would almost certainly get.

Your room is very private with your private bath across the hall. I am the only other person in the house and my room is on the other side of the house. I am a clean, well educated non-smoker/drinker, and prefer you be too.

The neighbors are all professionals, one doctor, one college professor, many retired.
