Hello! My roommate and I are unfortunately moving out of this apartment and would like to find people to move in on May 1st. It would be under a brand new lease through our management company (M&D, they've been great), so there would be a normal application process (it's not a sublet).
This apartment is an insanely good value in a great location for only $1745/month. Some highlights include:
LOCATION:
- PRIME location. Seriously, it's across the street from Trader Joe's/Aldi for groceries and right near a bunch of other stores like Bed Bath and Beyond, Binny's, HomeGoods, and more.
- 6-8 minute walk from two different L stops (Armitage for Brown/Purple lines, North/Clybourn for Red line)
- Divvy stop within 500 feet
- Walking distance from multiple gyms (FFC, Brooklyn Boulders, SoNo Fitness, etc.)
- Street parking readily available
ROOMS + SPACE:
- 2 big bedrooms w/ great wood floors + exposed brick walls. There's plenty of room for a queen bed + other furnishings (I have a big desk, my queen bed, and a dresser with plenty of space leftover - see photos).
- Bathroom with in-unit Washer/Dryer, good shower with excellent water pressure (also has a high shower head for the tall folks)
- Spacious living room with great windows and tons of natural light, working fire place, and entryway closet
- Gas stove/oven, good dishwasher, kitchen has tons of storage and cabinet space
- Cool enclosed backyard. We have a bunch of firewood and a fire pit that we like to use during the summer, plus the people before us used to use a projector to watch movies on the wall next to the building.
APARTMENT FEATURES
- Awesome maintenance team is super helpful and responsive, always responded super quickly to any requests
- Water is included but other utils (gas/electric/wifi) are not. We use People's Gas, Comed, and RCN for ours.
We've lived here for 2 years and the only reason we're not staying is to move in to my partner's apartment when her lease ends. The people before us lived here for 7 years and raved about it, and we've found it to be similarly awesome. There are a few things we could potentially leave for the next tenants including a bed frame + mattress, outdoor chairs, fire pit, small standing cabinets/storage, and a microwave, but happy to coordinate that with any applicants. We can also definitely show applicants the apartment in-person if desired.
