The rental price includes a gas range, frost-free refrigerator, air conditioning & heat in the appropriate seasons, and all utilities except telecommunications.

The apartment is an excellent value in the heart of the high-rent Central West End. The monthly rent not only gets you an address in the most expensive and fashionable historic district in the entire Midwest south of Lincoln Park (Chicago), it's easy to walk or take public transit just about everywhere. Grocery stores, shops, restaurants, coffee houses, the library, and all the amenities of a great urban center are a short and delightful walk from here.

This is a bicycle-friendly apartment building, though bike parking is extremely limited. We recommend that you roll your bicycle or other human-powered device into your apartment. This apartment is on the first floor, one half flight of stairs up from the lobby. Limited common-area bike parking is available in an area next to the laundry room, also one-half flight of stairs up from the lobby.

Smoking is not allowed in the apartment or anywhere else in the building or on the property.

Please note that there is an additional fee of $9.50 per month for "Tenant Liability Insurance." Such insurance covers accidental damages to the apartment and the building, but not to your personal possessions.
