This is 3 beautifully appointed 3 Bedrooms, 2 baths, and sleeps 7 (6 adults+1 upper sturdy xl twin bunk for kids or agile kids at heart)

Sunshine awaits at this 3BR/2BA snowbird-friendly retreat home in Nokomis, between Sarasota and Venice. We accommodate seven guests featuring brand new updates. Designer decorating and tranquil landscaping make this the warmest home away you will find anywhere. Located in a bird sanctuary on a private end of the road. Just relax or get moving. Private but not remote we are close to quaint towns, beaches, shopping, art and music venues, botanical gardens, state parks and museums.

Spend leisurely afternoons on your private patio with large BBQ grill and dine al fresco in your own backyard with fire pit . Rent kayaks and launch them in the bay, located just a 5-minute walk from your home. Or visit downtown Sarasota, quaint Venice or rocking Siesta Key and treat yourself to upscale beaching, shopping and dining.

When you’re ready for the best of Florida nature and some sea time, walk or bike to Oscar Sheerer State Park where you can easily rent kayaks and launch right there and visit Sarasota Bay for the sunset. You can take the 5-minute drive to Nokomis beach or 20 minutes to Siesta Key, the top-rated beach in the USA.



ABOUT THE HOME

All the rooms have a designer inspired theme with the Florida tropical vibe. All spaces are well lighted for your reading and net surfing enjoyment

Tile flooring flows throughout the house. The main living area ( “the Seashell Room”) is a roomy large space in this recently remodeled home with updated furnishings. Gather for game nights on a comfy huge sectional, a recliner and rocker in the “Seashell” living area.

Immerse yourself and enjoy the tropical feel of the “Parrot Room “ with two inviting couches ,( one a pull out bed ) 2 seat seating area, and recliner in this 3rd bedroom/ living area with seating for seven in either living room and a walk in closet in the parrot room .

Watch your favorite movies and shows on the flat screen TV with a blue ray DVD player.

Stream from your device with fast internet. Got work to do ? No problem, an office nook is set up in the “Parrot Room” with a Wi-Fi capable, brand new HP printer, desk, and work space we ith phone chargers and great lighting Do some home cooking in the eat-in kitchen (decorated in a bright fruit theme ) where a dining table seats 6 or squeeze in seven. The kitchen features all appliances. Ice maker fridge and wood cabinetry stocked with all the cookware and dishes (2 sets of ceramic for inside and a sea theme melamine unbreakable for outside). Blender, 2 coffee makers , toaster oven, mini nutra bullet. All you you’ll need to prepare family meals with all the conveniences you have at home. We provide your first few cups of coffee, tea, creamer, and first night snacks to get you started. Some spices as well.

Or make use of the big outdoor grill, and dine al fresco on the back patio with a stone patio table, huge umbrella a gazebo with fire pit, lounger and a separate “Sea Art wall” seating area.

Bikes and beach gear and beach towels (only 8 min drive to the beach) are stored in two separate, convenient outdoor storage sheds. Returning from the beach, take an outdoor shower to get the sand off.
