THE BUILDING: The Hellman Building was constructed in 1902 on the former site of Herman Hellman’s one-story cottage at the corner of South Main and 4th Street. Its six story structure features green terra cotta and classical details representative of commercial architecture in the early 20th century. When it was built, it was the largest steel frame building in Los Angeles. The ground floor is home to several art galleries, a local market, restaurants and a cupcake shop!
- Energy Star Appliances included: gas range, refrigerator, dishwasher, and garbage disposal. (There are washer/dryers on each floor of the building).
- Parking is available for a residential rate at the parking garage located at 415 S. Main Street at: $200/month for a single vehicle unreserved space.
- Pets are more than welcome here, no pet deposit nor pet rent.
