Property location is on a sunny knoll in a rural community of 20 homes. Access to the studio is from the back of the property. A staircase leads from the reserved parking through a meandering solar-lit gravel garden path up to the unit.
The living area has luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout, a Crate & Barrel couch plus 2 comfy chairs, a custom high-top dining table with 4 leather barstools, 2 skylights and a wall-mounted TV which can be viewed from the living area as well as from the sleeping area. Cable included. Full closet plus small linen closet.
The kitchen has an induction cooktop, microwave, Keurig coffeemaker, air fryer countertop oven, full refrigerator, and plenty of storage cabinets.
The bathroom has a full bath and marble countertop vanity and wall mounted soap, shampoo & conditioner dispenser.
The bedroom area has an elevated sleeping nook with wall-to-wall wool carpet, a full-size bed, and sheer drapes separating sleeping from the living area.
The laundry room is adjacent to the studio with private access. Laundry room is shared with main house and has a state-of-the-art front-loading washer and dryer, folding table, hanging rod, ironing board & iron. Please coordinate with owner on use.
The studio is suitable for 1 non-smoking, eco-minded, and nature-loving professional looking for a restful retreat. Quiet time is from 10 pm – 7 am daily. Please turn off lights when leaving the unit.
The studio is in an urban wildfire and wildlife area. Brownouts (intentional power outages by PG and E) may occur during severe weather events. During fire season, ALWAYS close windows when leaving the unit. A haven for birds, bees and butterflies. You are welcome to enjoy all outside areas.
There is a small (unsecured, not weatherproof) shed on the property that you are welcome to use for storage (suitcases, bike, kayak, etc.). The shed is shared with the owner. A 2-person hot tub in the back garden area is available by owners permission.
Trash, recycle and compost: Sonoma County has strict laws on how to dispose of waste. Please consult the info. provided and use appropriate containers. Pick up is TUESDAYS.
The garage is not included in the rental agreement but may be accessed by owner’s permission for vacuum, mop, and cleaning supplies.
Guests: Please notify owner of guests entering the property. Parking for guests is across the street on upper Cutten Drive. Maximum overnight stay is 3 nights, or by special permission from the owner.
