Sweet Gum Community has been established in Sulphur for over 30 years. Sulphur is considered the safest city in Louisiana and offers a suburban feel. Our neighborhood provides southwest Louisiana with affordable, community living. We offer something for all ages, including a community clubhouse, billiards, privacy fences, as well as cable and telephone hookups. We have superior amenities, including two, large clubhouses. Our heated pool is surrounded by a large sundeck, furnished with all new loungers, tables, and chairs. We even have shuffleboard courts and Petanque available for daily play!
