Located in the heart of Aspen Highlands Ski Resort. The Heatherbed is a former ski lodge across the street from Aspen Highlands Ski Area. It's a rustic building in a very quiet location 3 miles out of the town of Aspen. Most rooms are basic, motel style, furnished with one or two beds, dressers, lamps, microwave and a small refrigerator. Efficiency units are furnished with a small fridge and stove. Studio units are furnished with a microwave and small fridge. A full stove and a communal kitchen is available for use in the Heatherbed's lobby area. Each room has its own bathroom. There is a laundry room on site. Tenant must provide their own bed linens, cookware and eating utensils. Parking at the Heatherbed is extremely limited and a permit is $100 for the season if available. There is no street parking in the area. The free Castle/Maroon bus runs between Aspen and Highlands every 20 minutes. Large shared studio (360 sq ft) with small fridge and microwave is suitable for 2 people. Motel-style rooms (160 sq ft) with small fridge and microwave for 1 person. Studio units (360 sq ft) with full kitchens suitable for 2 people. Rent rates vary per room $500 to $900.Utilities included in rent. Internet & cable are separate (paid for by resident).
